Detailed description
The UFOBAY CE occupies the budget-conscious industrial relamping segment. The logic of the model is simple: keep the components that determine reliability, a Sosen driver and Philips LEDs, on deliberately plain mechanics. The result is a 100 to 200 W high bay delivering 15,000 to 30,000 lm, i.e. 150 lm/W.
Applications
- Replacement of discharge high bays in existing workshops and halls.
- Storage areas and warehouses with medium to high ceilings.
- Sports halls, gymnasiums and multi-purpose halls.
- Covered car parks and technical rooms, covered by IP65.
Technical highlights
- 150 lm/W with more than 80 % of the flux maintained after 50,000 hours: on a relamping project, the value that counts is not the flux on the day of installation but what will remain at the end of the payback period. The illuminance calculation benefits from being carried out on the maintained flux.
- Sosen driver and Philips LEDs: on an industrial high bay, the driver is the part that determines the effective service life of the whole unit.
- 5-year warranty, as stated by the manufacturer for this range.
- Supply voltage from 100 to 277 V: the wide range avoids having to qualify the luminaire network by network and absorbs the voltage variations of industrial sites.
- Patented design making it easy to add direct-connection sensors: motion or daylight detection added without rewiring. In a warehouse with intermittent traffic, detection reduces operating hours far more effectively than a gain in efficacy.
- IP65: total protection against dust and resistance to water jets, sufficient for non-air-conditioned premises and dusty atmospheres.
The body measures 254 mm in diameter and 150 mm high at 100 W, and 354 mm and 161 mm at 200 W. To decide between the two versions, the practical criterion remains the mounting height: above about ten metres, widely spaced 200 W units give better uniformity than a tight grid of 100 W units.
