ACOUSLIGHT Form L6080 · Circular Architectural Luminaire

The circular model of the ACOUSLIGHT Form series works on two levels at once: it lights the surface beneath it and illuminates its own inner face, turning the ring into a light element in its own right. The luminaire is as much an architectural object as a light source, which explains its use in spaces where the ceiling is visible and forms part of the design.

Technical highlights

• Diameters up to 1,200 mm: the range of sizes lets you match the scale of the luminaire to that of the space. A ring that is too small loses all effect in a large hall; a ring that is too large overwhelms a small room.
• Up to 7,500 lumens on the largest diameter: a flux that allows use as the main light source in a meeting or reception area, not just as decorative accent lighting.
• 100 lm/W: a consistent efficacy for an architectural luminaire, whose shape imposes constraints that a purely functional fitting does not have.
• Structure height 80 mm: the ring keeps a visible thickness that gives it presence when seen from below, while remaining compatible with common ceiling heights in commercial buildings.
• 78 colour and texture finishes: customisation lets you match the luminaire to a brand identity or a project material, or conversely blend it into the ceiling colour.
• Dual emission, downwards and towards the inside of the ring: the illuminated inner face reduces the contrast between the luminaire and its surroundings and limits the dark-silhouette effect on the ceiling.

This format is the right choice when the luminaire has to be seen, not merely produce flux. The first decision concerns the diameter: it is set according to the ceiling height, the area to be covered and the scale of the furniture. If your priority is pure efficiency on the working plane, a conventional recessed luminaire will remain the more direct option.
