Detailed description
The STARLOG 31 addresses a specific case: lighting from a great height, up to 30 metres, without multiplying light points. This type of configuration is found in high-bay warehouses, automated stores and recent logistics structures, where the luminaire is difficult to access and must therefore be chosen to last as much as to light.
Applications
- Warehouses and logistics structures up to 30 m high.
- Narrow rack aisles, with a 30° or 30×70° distribution that concentrates the flux between the racks.
- Dock areas, manoeuvring areas and open surfaces, treated with the wide 90° or 40×130° distributions.
- Industrial halls where mechanical strength comes first: IK10 absorbs impacts from handling.
Technical highlights
- Efficacy of 140 lm/W maintained across the whole range: 11,200 lm at 80 W, 42,000 lm at 300 W. Efficacy does not degrade as power increases, which allows sizing based on the photometric need alone.
- Five optical distributions: 30°, 60°, 90°, 30×70° and 40×130°. This is the decisive parameter at great heights: at 20 m, a beam that is too wide scatters the flux onto the walls; a beam that is too narrow leaves dark areas between luminaires.
- Flicker-free TOMCARLINE driver: useful wherever surveillance cameras or code readers are in use.
- IP65 / IK10: tight against dust and water jets, suited to unheated areas and halls open to the outside.
- Pure aluminium body and stainless steel screws: two points that determine longevity in a humid atmosphere.
- Neutral white 4000 K, the reference tint for workplaces.
Dimensions change with power, from 320 mm long at 80 W to 1220 mm at 300 W, for a constant cross-section of 145×116 mm. In practice, sizing is done in two steps: first the power according to the height and the required illuminance, then the optic according to the width of the aisles. An optic error is hard to correct once the luminaires are installed at 20 m.
