Detailed description
The GALAXY HP is a high-performance linear luminaire intended for general lighting of warehouses, production halls and order picking platforms. Its main interest lies in its efficacy: 170 lm/W stated by the manufacturer, i.e. 17,000 lm for 100 W and 34,000 lm for 200 W. In a building with several hundred light points operating continuously, this difference in efficacy shows directly in the installed power and in the number of luminaires needed to reach the target illuminance.

- Preparation, sorting and dock areas where glare for forklift drivers is to be limited.

Technical highlights
- Dual-row CREE LED packs and OSRAM Flicker Free driver: the absence of flicker is a visual comfort criterion at workstations occupied for several hours at a time, and a point to watch where there are rotating machines.
- Pure A6063 aluminium body, conductivity 226 W/m·K: heat removal determines how well the flux holds up over time. The stated service life is 50,000 h at L90B10, that is, 90 % of the initial flux retained on 90 % of the installed base.
- Side reflectors, ULOR close to 0: the flux is not lost towards the roof structure; it is sent back towards the working plane.
- Three types of anti-glare optics: the choice is made according to the mounting height and the width of the aisles.
- IP54 / IK08, 4000 K: protection suited to covered, dusty premises, with no direct exposure to water.
Two power ratings structure the range: 100 W at 577 mm and 200 W at 1148 mm, both 150 mm wide and 55.2 mm high. The choice between the two is made from the ceiling height and the roof structure grid: a high ceiling rather calls for widely spaced 200 W units, a moderate height for more closely spaced 100 W units. IP54 restricts the GALAXY HP to dry to moderately dusty interiors: for jet washing or a humid atmosphere, a waterproof model should be chosen.
