Detailed description
The REXPACK-300 is an industrial wall pack, that is, a luminaire fixed to a façade or vertical support, directing its flux towards the ground or a circulation area. This format meets perimeter security needs: docks, building surroundings, vehicle access, outdoor pedestrian paths.
Applications
- Façade and perimeter lighting on industrial and logistics sites.
- Loading docks and heavy goods vehicle manoeuvring areas.
- Access points, outdoor stairs and pedestrian paths on enclosed sites.
- Company car parks and parking areas, in addition to pole-mounted lighting.
- Unheated technical rooms, the operating range going down to -40 °C.
Technical highlights
- IP66: fully dust-tight and resistant to powerful water jets, which corresponds to permanent exposure to rain and wind.
- IK10: the highest degree of mechanical resistance in the series, relevant for a wall pack installed at head height and therefore exposed to impacts and vandalism.
- 150 lm/W, from 7,500 lm at 50 W to 30,000 lm at 200 W: efficacy remains constant across the whole range, so sizing is done directly on the required flux.
- 0.5 mm 1060 aluminium fins and 36 convection channels: a thin, multiplied heat sink increases the exchange surface for the same volume. Outdoors, this passive dissipation determines the stability of the flux in high heat.
- Range from -40 °C to +60 °C: covers mountain sites as well as south-facing façades.
- Philips Lumileds LEDs, service life of 70,000 h at L80B20: on an outdoor luminaire, each replacement requires access equipment, so longevity weighs heavily in the total cost of ownership.
- Two-part housing and integrated spirit level: the base is fixed and wired on its own, the optical body comes next, and the level allows the attitude to be set without instruments.
Dimensions range from 280x134x112 mm at 50 W to 345x172x163 mm at 200 W, a compact footprint for a wall pack of this power. To decide, start from the mounting height and the depth of the area to be covered: a 50 W version suits a path, while a dock several dozen metres long calls for higher powers spaced regularly.
