Detailed description
The LAMPE DE TRAVAIL ZOOM 40 is task lighting intended for precision work: watchmaking, jewellery, electronics, quality control. Its 372 mm head and two-segment articulated arm make it possible to place the light as close as possible to the workpiece and to orient the beam over 180 degrees to eliminate reflections on a polished surface.
Workstations concerned
- Watchmaking, jewellery and micromechanics benches.
- Wiring, soldering and electronic repair stations.
- Visual inspection and metrology stations in workshops.
- Laboratories, restoration workshops and touch-up work.
Technical highlights
- Colour temperature adjustable from 3,000 K to 6,000 K: the setting changes how materials are perceived. A warm white at 3,000 K better reveals gilded metals and warm reflections; a cool white at 6,000 K accentuates contrasts and micro-defects on a light surface.
- 40 W for 4,000 to 4,420 lm: the flux varies with the chosen colour temperature, normal behaviour for a tunable white source. Concentrated on a small work surface, the maximum of 4,420 lm produces an illuminance far higher than general room lighting.
- CRI above 80: sufficient to distinguish shades of material at a technical workstation. For strict colour inspection, a higher CRI remains preferable.
- 420 and 315 mm arms: the double articulation covers a large work area and allows the field to be completely cleared when the lamp is not in use.
- 180 degree head orientation: it is this degree of freedom that allows grazing light, the only way to reveal a surface defect or a fine scratch.
- IP44: protection against solid objects larger than 1 mm and against splashing water, suited to a workshop where dust and splashes are common.
- Epistar LEDs: an identified component.
This lamp is aimed at workstations where fineness of detail determines the quality of the work. Check the available bench depth and the mounting method before ordering: the reach of the arm determines the area actually covered. To equip a complete workshop, bear in mind that task lighting complements general lighting; it does not replace it.
