Detailed description
The TLKC-03 is a 48 V magnetic spotlight designed for museography and object scenography. Its 4 degree optic produces a very narrow beam, able to isolate a piece in a dark space without spilling onto its immediate surroundings. Powered at extra-low voltage, it fits into the 48 V magnetic tracks used in exhibition rooms.
Installation contexts
- Museum display cases and plinths, isolated object lighting.
- Art galleries and temporary exhibitions.
- Auction rooms and spaces for presenting precious objects.
- Architectural detail accenting: sculpture, niche, interior façade element.
What the figures say
- CRI 95: colour rendering approaches that of a reference source. In a museum context, this is what makes it possible to render the pigments of a painting or the shades of an old textile without drift.
- 4 degree angle: a beam of this opening lights a small target even at a distance, leaving the background in shadow. The contrast ratio thus obtained is the scenographer’s main tool.
- 12 W for 600 lm: the power concentrated in a narrow angle produces a high illuminance at the centre of the beam despite a deliberately modest total flux.
- 48 V supply: extra-low voltage simplifies work on the track and repositioning spotlights between two hangings.
- DALI, 0-10 V or TRIAC control: three protocols available, which allows the luminaire to be connected to a building management system as well as to an existing local dimmer.
- 83 mm in diameter and 110 mm high: a compact format, suited to small-section tracks and to ceilings where the spotlights must remain discreet.
This model is the natural choice when beam precision and colour fidelity are non-negotiable. Conversely, to light a continuous wall surface, a 4 degree angle would require multiplying the points: in that case, choose a wider optic.
