Detailed description
The SL-NR13 is a flexible neon with a cylindrical cross-section, 13 mm in diameter, that radiates over 360 degrees. Unlike square profiles with directed emission, it behaves like a light tube seen identically from all axes. It is a drawing tool more than a lighting tool.
Typical uses
- Illuminated lettering and three-dimensional logos.
- Decorative installations in retail and brand corners.
- Suspended organic shapes, free curves and light sculptures.
- Bars, restaurants and night venues, as a graphic element.
- Cladding of existing tubular structures.
What the datasheet says
- 360 degree diffusion: no unlit back face. The neon can therefore be suspended or detached from the wall without revealing a dark area, an essential condition for lettering seen from both sides.
- 13 mm diameter: a size close to traditional glass neon, which helps when replacing an existing sign while keeping its graphic style.
- Bending radius of 100 mm: allows loops and cursive letters without strain on the sleeve. This is the figure to check first against the design of your lettering, especially for tight characters.
- 531 lm/m: a flux sized for the legibility of the light object itself, not for lighting a work surface.
- IP65: tight against dust and protected against water jets. This covers demanding interiors and sheltered outdoor areas, but not immersion or standing water.
- High-transparency silicone: the sleeve lets light through without tinting it, which preserves the purity of the white and the saturation of the colours.
- CRI above 90 and 3-year warranty.
This product is the natural choice whenever form takes precedence over photometric performance. Before ordering, check the minimum radius of 100 mm against the route of your design: that is where most feasibility refusals arise. Send us the vector file of the lettering and we will validate the bends and the total developed length.
