The REXYSHEET 420 LED is a 6.5 mm thick monochrome light sheet, designed for backlighting surfaces where no floodlight can be placed at a distance. It turns a translucent panel into a uniform luminous surface without making the construction thicker.
Applications
- Backlighting of marble, onyx and translucent stones.
- Reception desks, counters and illuminated bar fronts.
- Cladding of columns and cylindrical volumes.
- Frosted glass panels, resins and translucent composites.

Specifications and implications
- Thickness of 6.5 mm: the sheet fits behind a facing without a deep recess. This is often what makes the project possible in renovation, when the available depth is already used up.
- 3,700 lm on a 503 x 235 mm format: a high surface flux, needed to pass through a dense material such as marble and obtain a genuinely visible effect in a lit environment.
- Cuttable with scissors in all directions: unlike a strip that can only be cut at marked points, the sheet adjusts freely to a curved template or an angled cut-out.
- Foldable and rollable: it wraps around a column or a corner return without breaking the circuit, which a rigid panel does not allow.
- CRI above 90: the veining and shades of the stone stand out without a parasitic cast, an essential point on an expensive natural material.
- 3M PRO adhesive: lasting hold on a clean support, including in a vertical position.
- Polarised Wago connectors: tool-free connection with no risk of reversing polarity, which makes installation by a non-specialist installer safer.
- IP20 or IP65 depending on the version, 24 V DC, stated service life of 50,000 h.
The success of stone backlighting depends on two parameters: the thickness of the material and the distance between the source and its back face. Too close, and the modules can be made out; too far, and the necessary thickness no longer exists.
