Detailed description
The Linear Flex 21 Series stands out for its 270 degree diffusion angle, obtained thanks to a domed 11.5 x 28 mm cross-section. The line remains legible even when seen from a very offset point, which matters on a façade viewed from the street as well as from an upper floor.
Applications
- Highlighting of façades and slab edges, seen from multiple angles.
- Pools, pool decks and submerged surroundings, in the IP68 version.
- Event lighting and dynamic scenography.
- Outlines of structures and curved volumes followed flat.
- Coloured architectural signage.
Technical highlights
- 270 degree angle: far beyond the frontal emission of a flat strip. The practical consequence is a much wider viewing range, and therefore fewer constraints on the orientation of the profile during installation.
- Horizontal bending, known as Side Bend: the product bends flat, across its width. This is what is needed to follow a route drawn on a wall or to go around a volume, as opposed to a Top Bend reserved for bends in elevation.
- IP67 / IP68: up to prolonged immersion depending on the chosen version, which opens up swimming pool and pond applications in addition to exposed façades.
- Flux from 171 to 450 lm/m: the breadth of the range allows the intensity to be adjusted to the context, a low level being enough in a dark area, a high level being needed in an already lit urban environment.
- CRI above 90 on the white versions, for faithful rendering of façade materials.
- RGB and Pixel DMX versions: the pixel version allows segments to be addressed individually and sweeping or gradient effects to be created along the length.
- DMX, SPI or PWM control: compatible with an existing control desk as well as simple dimming, depending on the level of scenography required.
The choice comes down to two points: the bending direction imposed by your route, and whether or not dynamic effects are needed. A flat route with pixel animation clearly points to this series. Send us the developed length of the route and the number of segments to address so that we can size the control chain.
