Detailed description
The LAMPADAIRE LINEUP 80 is a predominantly indirect floor-standing luminaire, designed for office floors where ceiling wiring is impossible or undesirable. Its UGR below 9 places it at a very low glare level, obtained by sending 75 % of the light towards the ceiling: the occupant practically never sees the source, only the surface it lights.
Applications
- Open spaces and office floors refitted without altering the suspended ceiling.
- Executive offices and meeting rooms.
- Commercial spaces in older buildings where the ceiling cannot be drilled.
- Flexible layouts and frequently relocated workstations.
Technical highlights
- UGR below 9: such a level means that no direct source disturbs the eye, even when looking up from the screen. This is the central argument for the indirect floor lamp compared with a ceiling luminaire.
- 80 W in total, of which 60 W upwards: this 75 % distribution towards the ceiling determines the result. It requires a light-coloured ceiling and sufficient height; otherwise illuminance on the work surface drops.
- 10,000 lm: a flux that allows several workstations around the same column to be lit, and therefore limits the number of fittings and sockets used.
- Distributions of 120 degrees upwards and 45 degrees downwards: the wide component washes the ceiling, the narrow component adds localised light on the workstation without creating veiling reflections on the screen.
- PIR presence detection: automatic switch-off of unoccupied areas, a significant source of savings on a floor with variable occupancy.
- Daylight harvesting: the luminaire modulates its flux according to the daylight contribution, which evens out the perceived level near glazed façades.
- Dimming: level adjustment according to the task and the occupants' preferences.
- Epistar chip, dimensions 1,048.5 x 1,987 mm: a footprint to check against the ceiling height and the layout of the workstations.
This model is the natural choice when visual comfort comes first and work on the ceiling is ruled out. First check two points: the ceiling height and how light the ceiling is, which on their own determine the performance of indirect lighting. We can simulate the result on your plan before you decide.
