Detailed description
The DALLE VERTIGO VBL is the benchmark model of the range for commercial relamping. It is based on a backlit architecture: the LEDs are spread behind the diffuser rather than along the edges, which gives uniform luminance over the whole surface and eliminates the brighter areas around the edges seen on ageing edge-lit panels.
Applications
- Office floors and open spaces with a demountable suspended ceiling grid.
- Meeting rooms and screen-based workstations.
- Schools and training rooms.
- Reception areas, circulation areas and administrative premises.
- Relamping campaigns where the existing grid is retained.
Technical highlights
- UGR below 19: the unified glare rating expresses the discomfort felt by an occupant facing the luminaire. Below 19, the panel is suitable for workstations with screens, where an overly bright luminaire is reflected in the screen glass and tires the operator.
- SDCM below 3: the colour dispersion between luminaires remains below the perception threshold. In practice, two neighbouring panels show no visible difference in tint, which matters when several hundred units are installed on the same floor.
- PMMA diffuser guaranteed 10 years against yellowing: yellowing is the most visible form of degradation of a panel. It reduces the transmitted flux and shifts the tint towards warm.
- Flicker-free AGT driver: the absence of flicker is a comfort factor over entire days spent under the luminaire.
- DALI and 1/10 V compatibility: the panel integrates into an existing lighting management system, by zone or by addressing.
- Power from 30 to 55 W for a flux of 3,900 to 7,260 lm: the high version makes it possible to maintain a high illuminance with fewer points, or to compensate for a high ceiling.
- Aluminium frame, thickness 35 mm, in 596×596 mm and 1196×296 mm formats.
The choice is made mainly on the format of the existing grid and on the target illuminance on the work surface. When relamping, it is useful to check the depth available in the plenum: 35 mm remains compatible with most suspended ceilings, but not with very crowded plenums.
