Detailed description
The DALLE VERTIGO SENSOR integrates detection into the frame of the luminaire. Where a conventional controlled installation requires a separate sensor, its wiring and its configuration, the function is here built into the panel itself. The luminaire measures the available light and presence, then adjusts its own flux.
Applications
- Office floors close to glazed façades, where the daylight contribution varies greatly during the day.
- Meeting rooms with intermittent occupancy.
- Circulation areas, toilets and little-used service rooms.
- Commercial buildings with a consumption reduction target but no major building management works.
Technical highlights
- PIR sensor integrated into the frame, with Helvar or Philips variants available as an option. Detection is therefore as close as possible to the lit area, which avoids the blind spots of a single sensor placed in the centre of a floor.
- Daylight-based regulation: the panel adjusts its flux in real time according to the ambient illuminance. Near a façade, the hours during which the luminaire runs at reduced power represent a large share of annual consumption.
- Master/slave operation: one equipped panel controls the neighbouring panels. This makes it possible to treat an entire zone without fitting a sensor to every point, and to keep consistent behaviour across the zone.
- 36 W for 3,600 lm, i.e. 100 lm/W: the efficacy remains that of a standard commercial panel. The saving here comes from the regulation, not from the source.
- Thickness of 9 mm: very thin for a luminaire with on-board electronics, leaving room in a crowded plenum.
- IP40 and IK07: protection against solid objects larger than 1 mm, with no water resistance. This model is reserved for dry rooms.
The 595×595 mm format fits standard grids. The decision to make concerns the distribution of sensors: equipping every panel serves no purpose; the aim is to define coherent zones and place a master panel in each. A well-defined zone follows the actual use of the floor, not the existing electrical layout.
