Detailed description
The DALLE VERTIGO FRAMELESS removes the visible frame around the luminous surface. The effect sought is continuity: placed side by side, several panels form an uninterrupted luminous surface, without the dark line that usually marks the joint between two luminaires. It is a product of architectural intent as much as a functional luminaire.
Applications
- Reception halls and prestige spaces where the ceiling is part of the architectural treatment.
- Conference rooms and boardrooms.
- Showrooms, sales areas and indoor display windows.
- Main circulation areas treated as a continuous light band.
- Luminous ceilings or walls made up of several assembled panels.
Technical highlights
- No visible frame and integrated connectors: the panels connect to each other, which makes it possible to compose patterns without multiplying junction boxes above the ceiling.
- Thickness of 16.7 mm: among the thinnest in the range. This slimness allows installation in shallow plenums, recessed into plasterboard or as cladding on a bulkhead.
- 36 W for 3,450 lm, i.e. an efficacy of 95 lm/W.
- CRI above 80: the colour rendering suits reception areas, where people look at materials, textiles and faces rather than a work surface. Below this value, warm tones and skin tones visibly deteriorate.
- IP65: unusual ingress protection for a panel with an aesthetic purpose, which allows use in damp rooms and makes cleaning exposed surfaces easier.
- 595×595 mm and 1195×295 mm formats: the long format lends itself to linear bands, the square format to chequerboard compositions or full luminous ceilings.
This model is chosen first for the visual effect sought. If the only goal is to reach an illuminance level on an office floor, a standard panel does the job at lower cost. The FRAMELESS is justified when the ceiling is seen, when the lighting composition is part of the project, or when continuity between luminaires is an acceptance criterion.
