Detailed description
The SL-F2835 Tunable White CC combines two characteristics rarely found together: a single continuous length of 15 metres and a colour temperature variable from 2000 K to 6500 K. It is aimed at projects where the line of light must remain continuous over an entire run, while following the rhythm of the day.
Installation contexts
- Corridors, circulation areas and long runs of cornice in commercial buildings.
- Hotel rooms and serviced residences, moving from warm light in the evening to neutral light in the morning.
- Workspaces and meeting rooms controlled by scenarios.
- Retail and showrooms, with the white adjusted according to the products on display.
- Care facilities, to support the circadian rhythm.
Reading the specifications
- Constant current supply: the current is regulated along the circuit, which keeps brightness uniform from the beginning to the end of the strip. In practice, there is no longer any need to insert an amplifier or to re-inject current mid-line.
- 15 m in a single piece: fewer joints, and therefore fewer points of failure and no visible break in the line of light.
- Tunable white from 2000 K to 6500 K: the range goes lower than common warm whites, which allows very warm atmospheres in the evening, and high enough for a genuinely cool light in daytime use.
- 1201 lm/m with 120 LEDs/m: the density of sources smooths dotting behind a diffuser, while providing enough flux for indirect lighting that genuinely contributes.
- CRI above 90: essential whenever the rendering of materials or skin tones is at stake.
- Integrated thermal detection circuit: the strip monitors its own temperature, a useful safety feature in a closed profile or a poorly ventilated cove.
- Protection from IP20 to IP68 depending on the version, 24 V DC, 3-year warranty.
This strip is mainly justified when continuity comes first: a long run without breaks, or control of the white over large areas. Check the cross-section of the power cables and the chosen dimming method beforehand, then have the power to be planned validated by a layout study.
