Detailed description
The Future Ball LED lights an entire volume from a single point. Its 360° distribution sets it apart from conventional site floodlights, which send all their flux in one direction and leave sharp shadows behind them. Hung by its retractable hook in the centre of a room, it produces general lighting of 2400 lm for only 20 W.
Applications
- General lighting of dark construction areas: cellars, basements, windowless rooms.
- Interior renovation sites, where the whole volume must be seen rather than a single wall.
- Night maintenance work and emergency repairs.
- Tents, marquees and site shelters.
- Temporary workstations requiring shadow-free lighting.
Technical highlights
- 360° beam: light goes in all directions, which eliminates shadows cast on one side of the room and avoids having to reposition the luminaire as the work progresses.
- 20 W for 2400 lm: a consumption that allows several units to be connected on the same line without overloading the site distribution board.
- Two mains sockets: each ball acts as a relay for the next one or for a tool, which limits the number of extension leads on the floor, a classic cause of falls.
- IP54: protected against dust and splashing water, therefore usable under a light shelter and in a damp room.
- IK10 and polyethylene body: polyethylene absorbs falls by deforming rather than breaking, and IK10 is the highest level on the impact resistance scale.
- 5 m H07RN-F 3×1.5 mm² cable: flexible rubber-sheathed cable, designed for mobile use and repeated dragging on the ground.
- Retractable hook for immediate suspended installation, with no accessory.
Choose the Future Ball when the aim is to see an entire volume, not to light a façade or a specific workstation. For directed work, an adjustable floodlight remains more suitable, and the two often complement each other on the same site: the ball for the general ambience, the floodlight for detail work.
