M22 FLUXO SPORT Floodlight

High-Performance LED Floodlight The M22 FLUXO SPORT floodlight is a premium solution designed for stadiums and sports facilities, offering an efficacy of 140 to 150 lm/W. This luminaire ensures precise control of spill light thanks to its asymmetric optic and interchangeable lenses (12° to 130°x25°). Its extruded aluminium housing guarantees optimal heat dissipation for a calculated service life of 341,000 hours (L70B50). Certified IP66 and IK10, it withstands 20 kV surges and has a thermal control unit protecting the LEDs in extreme temperatures. Efficacy: 150 Lm/W | Flux: up to 250,000 Lm | IP66 / IK10 | Power: 450W to 1800W | Ambient temp.: -40 to +50°C | Service life: 341,000h L70B50.

Detailed description

The M22 Fluxo Sport floodlight is a high-power floodlight intended for stadiums and large playing areas. Its range extends from 450 W to 1800 W, for a flux of up to 250,000 lm. It is positioned for installations where an entire area is to be covered from a limited number of poles.

Applications

  • Football and rugby stadiums, main pitches equipped with high masts.
  • Athletics tracks and outdoor multi-sports complexes.
  • Large activity areas: outdoor logistics platforms, storage yards, port areas.
  • Sites subject to neighbourhood constraints, thanks to spill light control.

Optics and spill light control

The M22 takes interchangeable lenses covering 12° to 130° x 25°. A narrow 12° beam is used to reach the centre of the pitch from a distant pole, while wide asymmetric optics treat the near area without sending light above the horizontal. It is this set of lenses, combined with the asymmetric optic, that makes it possible to contain light spill towards neighbouring homes and to limit glare for players and spectators alike.

Technical highlights

  • 450 W to 1800 W, up to 250,000 lm: the power step is chosen after calculation, according to the number of poles and the level sought on the playing area.
  • IP66 and IK10: fully tight against dust and water jets, with impact resistance at the highest level of the IK scale.
  • 20 kV surge protection: at the top of a pole, lightning and network surges are the leading cause of premature floodlight failure.
  • Thermal control unit: it protects the LEDs when the temperature leaves the intended range, over an ambient range of -40 to +50 °C.
  • Extruded aluminium housing, whose geometry serves heat dissipation.
  • 341,000 hours L70B50: at that point, half of the installed base still retains at least 70 % of its initial flux.

A stadium floodlight is never chosen on its flux alone: the number of poles, their height, their position relative to the touchlines and the illuminance required by the sport together determine the unit power and the optics to choose. The full range can be seen in the sports and leisure range.
