Detailed description
The CO-L500 is a 150 W street light intended for lighting roads. Its streamlined body is not merely aesthetic: a reduced exposed surface limits wind load at the top of the pole, a parameter that directly affects the sizing of the poles and foundations.
Applications
- Municipal roads, county roads and through-roads in built-up areas.
- Service roads in business parks and access roads to industrial sites.
- Outdoor car parks and turning areas, installed on poles.
- Paths and building surroundings, wall-mounted thanks to the adjustable bracket.
Technical highlights
- 150 W for 24,000 lm, i.e. 160 lm/W: for the same illuminance, this efficacy translates into lower installed power along the whole route, and therefore a lighter subscription cost.
- Separate cooling for the driver and the LEDs: the driver is the component that ages fastest under heat. Isolating it from the main heat source is what allows it to last over time on a light point that is difficult to access.
- IP66: dust-tight and resistant to powerful water jets, therefore compatible with the weather and street cleaning.
- IK10: the highest level on the impact resistance scale, a primary argument on roads exposed to vandalism or flying gravel.
- CRI above 70 or 80 depending on the version: the Ra 80 version is chosen where colour recognition matters, typically in urban through-roads or under video surveillance.
- Range from -40 to +60 °C, dimensions 531 x 283 x 267 mm, 5-year warranty.
- Adjustable bracket: adjustable tilt to compensate for the slope of a bracket arm or switch to wall mounting without any additional part.
To decide, start from the geometry of the road: carriageway width, mounting height, spacing between poles and target illuminance. It is the combination of these four parameters, and not the flux taken in isolation, that determines whether 150 W is enough or whether the points must be brought closer together. We calculate the uniformity obtained on your route on study request, and the rest of the range is grouped in the roads and traffic routes category.
